የምድረ ፡ በዳው ፡ ድምጽ ፡ የአዋጅ ፡ ነጋሪው ፡ ቃል
መንገዱን ፡ ጥረጉ ፡ አስተካክሉ ፡ ይላል
ክብሩ ፡ ይገለጣል ፡ ኮረብታው ፡ ዝቅ ፡ ይበል
ሥጋ ፡ ለባሽ ፡ ሁሉ ፡ እግዚአብሔርን ፡ ያያል
አዝ፦ እኔ ፡ ነኝ ፡ ተራራው ፡ ትልቁ ፡ እንቅፋት
የሕዝብህ ፡ ጉስቁልና ፡ የድካሙ ፡ ምክንያት
ኦ ፡ ምንኛ ፡ ይመራል ፡ የትዕቢቱ ፡ ፅዋ
ጌታ ፡ ሆይ ፡ ዝቅ ፡ አርገኝ ፡ ሳይገለኝ ፡ ፍሬዋ
ጌታ ፡ ትዕቢተኛውን ፡ እጅግ ፡ ይቃወማል
ለትሁታኑ ፡ ግን ፡ ፀጋውን ፡ ይሰጣል
ለስም ፡ አገልጋይ ፡ ነኝ ፡ ፀጋ ፡ ግን ፡ ያንሰኛል
የእኔ ፡ ዝና ፡ ወጥቶ ፡ የአንተ ፡ ተሰውሯል
አዝ፦ እኔ ፡ ነኝ ፡ ተራራው ፡ ትልቁ ፡ እንቅፋት
የሕዝብህ ፡ ጉስቁልና ፡ የድካሙ ፡ ምክንያት
