This song is about the greatest hope of Christians in all ages. Its title “Jiraachuudhaaf" in Afan Oromo means 'to live'.
Apparently, death is an end to life, and a cessation to exist. On the contrary, because of Jesus, death has lost its power and now serves another role for those who are in Him: a way through which we enter into His glorious presence— in order to live with Him; thus, JIRAACHUUDHAAF! Because of Jesus, we die to live with Him.
ይህ “Jiraachuudhaaf (ለመኖር)” የተሰኘ መዝሙር ስለተባረከው ተስፋችን፣ እርሱም ከሞት በስቲያ ከኢየሱስ ጋር ስለመኖር ነው።
ስለ ሞት ስናስብ፣ የሕይወት ፍጻሜና የሕልውና ማብቂያ ይመስላል። ነገር ግን፣ ከክርስቶስ ኢየሱስ የተነሳ፣ ሞት ኃይሉ ተውስዶበት አሁን በክርስቶስ ላለን ከእርሱ ጋር ለመኖር ወደ ክብሩ ህልውና የምንገባበት መሻገሪያ ሆኗል። ከኢየሱስ የተነሳ ከእርሱ ጋር ለመኖር በሞት እንሄዳለን!
